Is Sika Moon real? The answer is more interesting than yes or no.

The short answer: the pictures are AI — the person behind them says she's real. Sika Moon isn't a pure AI character like some virtual creators, and she isn't a regular photographed model either. She's the third thing most people don't know exists yet: an AI-enhanced persona.

What her own accounts say

Her Threads bio reads: “Virtual influencer Model, Berlin Girl, Artist. Yes, I'm real.” On not-fake.ai, a transparency pledge site for virtual-influencer creators, her profile describes her content as “a virtual enhanced version of my real face” — a real woman, AI-generated images.

What the press found

UNILAD reported in September 2023 that a Berlin woman was earning around $20,000 a month from an AI “dream version” of herself. OMR's February 2024 reporting adds that the project began as a personal experiment with AI image tools, and moved to Fanvue after OnlyFans — which prohibits AI content — blocked the account. Notably, every journalist who has interviewed her did so anonymously, by email. Her real identity has never been publicly verified by anyone.

So what should a fan believe?

The honest state of the evidence: the images you see are AI creations (her own words), a real person appears to operate the account and says the persona is based on her real face, and nobody outside the operation has ever confirmed who she is. That last part matters — “trust me, I'm real” from an anonymous account is a claim, not a verification. If Sika Moon's operator ever wants the claim settled, this page can be claimed and verified — that's what our verification standard exists for.

Watch out for the copycats

Multiple Instagram accounts use her name with very different follower counts, several TikTok accounts do the same, and no official Patreon exists — only the accounts linked from her own link hub should be trusted. Her truth page lists exactly those, and the follow box there will tell you if her accounts ever move or go down.
